The UVM Lane Series - Dreamers’ Circus

"Folk-rooted but genre-defying in music that shifted through the playful and the sublime."
— The Scotsman

We were one of the lucky few who had the opportunity to present Dreamer’s Circus on their first U.S. tour in 2019, and it was a truly magical evening. Dreamers’ is the beautiful brainchild of three virtuosic Danish and Swedish musicians: Nikolaj Busk on piano and accordion, Ale Carr on cittern, and Rune Tonsgaard Sørensen, of the Danish String Quartet, on violin. This is gorgeously performed Scandinavian acoustic folk music played with respect for the past, delight in innovation, dazzling skill, and extraordinary beauty. We’ve been anxious to have them back, but between Rune’s unbelievably busy touring schedule with the quartet, and other obvious factors beyond our control, it’s been a challenge. What a treat to open our season with them this year!

Please note: There will be a per-ticket convenience fee added on the checkout page. Fees for students are already included in the $5 ticket price. Students must bring student ID.
