“Luft is a Wailin’ Jennys alum whose work on the clawhammer banjo is to die for, while Edwards’ guitar and vocal harmonies deepen and enrich the duo’s sound.” NPR Music
Cara Luft and JD Edwards, are The Small Glories, the 2020 International Folk Awards Artists of the Year. They deserve every accolade (and there are too many to repeat here) they’ve received since they ended up together accidentally, onstage at a show in Winnipeg in 2012 and their chemistry was undeniable. Their gorgeous voices, guitar and banjo playing, and stage banter just blend perfectly into a performance that will leave you with a grin on your face and music in your heart. Pure Americana with hilarious dry Canadian wit, these veteran singer-songwriters “have a way of making time disappear, rooms shrink, and audiences feel as though they are right there on the stage with the band.” People are already calling about this appearance, so if you are a folk/Americana fan, do not wait to get these tickets.
Please note: There will be a per-ticket convenience fee added on the checkout page. Fees for students are already included in the $5 ticket price. Students must bring student ID.
