“…powerhouse sound, forceful musical personality, and sheer virtuosity…had this critic on the edge of his seat…” – Musical America
When Anna Geniushene closed the Cliburn Competition with a performance of Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No. 1, Gramophone wrote, “I couldn’t help but equate Anna Geniushene’s seasoned pianism to Cliburn at his best.” Anna made her recital debut at age seven in the small hall of the Berlin Philharmonic and has since developed a versatile career as an artist from solo and concerto performances in major world venues to chamber music at many festivals around the world. She is a graduate of the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory and holds a Master’s with Distinction and an Advanced Diploma from the Royal Academy of Music in London. For us, she will play works by Debussy, Chopin, Tchaikovsky, Grieg, and Schumann.
